The Legislation Register is currently affected by an ICT incident, resulting in new legislation not being able to be notified on the Legislation Register.

Under the Legislation Act 2001, section 28 (2) (b), if it is not practicable to notify the making of a law passed by the Assembly as requested by the Speaker on the Register, the parliamentary counsel must notify the law in another place the parliamentary counsel considers appropriate, for example, another government website.

In accordance with the Legislation Act 2001, section 28 (2) (b) and (5), the parliamentary counsel notifies the making of the following Acts by the Assembly, and text of the Acts, on this website (the Parliamentary Counsel’s Office website www.pco.act.gov.au):

Under the Legislation Act 2001, section 61 (2) (b), if it is not practicable to notify the making of a legislative instrument as requested by an authorised person on the Register, the parliamentary counsel must notify the law in another place the parliamentary counsel considers appropriate, for example, another government website.
